Recently while exploring more of our gorgeous mountains, Andrew took us through Wolgan View Canyon on the Newnes Plateau.
As it was our first time canyoning, he chose an easy walk and a dry canyon. It was an incredibly long rough drive in, but SO worth it as the walk provided oodles of wildlife and stunning nature, while the canyon itself was breathtaking. We spent a good hour and a half exploring, oohing, ahhhing and photographing just inside the canyon! Our companions – who knew us well – disappeared off to check out the view of the valley and left us with our cameras. We were still photographing on their return.
After a brief break for a snack we headed down to the Glow Worm Tunnel as we were so close. A fabulous experience and an easy walk, well worth a look.
