We capture families all across Sydney and have compiled some of the standout locations in this handy guide.
We allow up to one hour to capture your immediate family and 1½ hours for an extended family portrait session. That gives us enough time to work with toddler tantrums, different dynamics and a few different backgrounds.
There’s no need to worry, a de lumière family portrait session is a relaxed affair. Consider it a casual catch up where we start with getting to know each other before you almost forget that we’re there. Candid shots are our specialty! We let you interact with your loved ones and let your kids get on with their games. That’s when the most natural shots magically happen. Wait and see.
If you’re looking for locations in the heart of Sydney, then Watson’s Bay, Nielsen Park, Little Bay, The Rocks and The Royal Botanic Gardens are a safe bet. We love anywhere with gorgeous Australian backdrops!
The stunning Blue Mountains also lend themselves perfectly to outdoor family photography. Some of our favourites include Wentworth Falls, Blackheath, Yarramundi Reserve and Lawson.
We even have a selection of pet friendly locations perfect for capturing your furry friends.
So many things that come to mind once you’ve booked your photography session. Trust us as your helping hand to take the stress out of the preparations. We’ll discuss what clothes to wear, how to prepare and where we’ll meet. We’ll also give you some ideas to make your photography session truly yours.
Once we’ve worked out that we’re the perfect match, you’ll pay a deposit to secure your date and we’ll agree on a package that suits you to a tee. You’ll then pay the balance before the session so we can finalise the last bits and pieces. And then we’re all set to make memories.
